Scope of Work
As Engineer and Architect of Record, RAND Engineering & Architecture, PC:
- Designed heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, sprinkler, and fire alarm systems
- Customized HVAC system in cellar to maintain humidity and temperature at proper levels for leather goods storage
- Modified HVAC system in store to accommodate heat generated by lighting design.
- Peer reviewed interior finishes (millwork, lighting) for compliance with New York City Building Code
- Filed work permits and obtained approval from the Department of Buildings and Landmarks Preservation Commission
- Administered construction to confirm work was performed as specified
- Completed work within tight eight-week time frame for scheduled fall 2011 opening.
