Career Opportunities Engineer/Architect: Building Surveys
ARCHITECT PROJECT MANAGERRAND is seeking an architect (RA a plus) to manage large, multifaceted projects (exterior/interior, M/E/P, structural) for residential and commercial buildings. The person will review plans, coordinate tasks and schedules among teams, and interact with clients, Rand staff, and contractors. Strong design, project planning, and communication skills are essential.

This position entails preparing construction documents and frequent

written skills. Salary commensurate with experience. New York State PE
license a strong plus, but not required. ENGINEER/ARCHITECT: BUILDING SURVEYS
RAND is seeking an engineer/architect to conduct Physical Condition
Surveys for exterior and interior building systems and prepare reports
for capital improvement planning. Knowledge of NYC Building Code,
building design from various eras, and strong writing skills required.
RA or PE degree a plus. MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
RAND is seeking a
mechanical engineer with a strong knowledge of residential and
commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. Candidates must be experienced in
preparing construction drawings and design specifications and proficient
in CAD. Knowledge of electrical and fire protection systems is a plus.
PE license preferred, but not essential.
ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSPERSONRand is seeking a draftsperson to prepare detailed architectural plans and elevations using AutoCAD to assist in the development of construction documents. At least one year experience and a bachelor’s degree in architecture required. Salary is $42,000 a year, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
