On Monday night limbs went flying in our 11th-floor multipurpose space as a group of us participated in RAND's first kick boxing class. Under trainer Bryan Ruck's high-energy instruction, we jabbed, hooked, elbowed, and roundhoused our way through an intense yet fun workout. Our arms and legs felt like jello after an hour of punching and kicking, but I'm proud to say we all went the distance.
Kick boxing joins RAND's health and fitness offerings, which include yoga, circuit training, training runs, nutritional counseling, and workouts in our 10th -floor exercise room. After Monday night's session, we can't wait to go another round and give those calories the old one-two!
